Elementary School Crossing Guard Killed by Vehicle - Rockwall, TX

On the morning of September 20, 2021, an Elementary school crossing guard was killed after being struck by a vehicle. Preliminary reports state the driver of the vehicle may have suffered a medical emergency at the time, causing the tragic accident. The vehicle also struck another vehicle after hitting the crossing guard. The crossing guard was taken to a hospital but died.
