Pedestrian Killed Crossing North Highway in Grand Prairie By Rocky Walton on June 25, 2019

GRAND PRAIRIE – A car struck and fatally injured a man attempting to cross North Highway in Grand Prairie early in the morning on June 8, a Star-Telegram article said.

The man was reportedly with another man crossing the main lanes of the highway when he was struck by the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu near the 2000 block. Police indicated no charges were expected to be filed against the driver, who was not injured.  The death was the sixth traffic fatality of the year in Grand Prairie, police said.
