On the evening of November 5, 2019, a 69-year-old man was killed after being struck while walking on Santa Fe Drive. The man died at the scene. The female driver of the vehicle was traveling southbound on Santa Fe Drive when she fatally struck the man in the street. Weatherford Police continue investigations but report that they believe the female driver was unable to see the pedestrian and react in time.
