One Killed Several Injured by Underaged Driver in Grand Prairie By Rocky Walton on July 14, 2020

On the evening of July 12, 2020, a group of one man and two women pushing strollers were walking along E. Main Street in Grand Prairie when they were struck by an underaged driver. The driver, a 13-year-old, was driving without parental consent and didn't notice the group walking. a 52-year-old woman lost her life in the accident and the others were taken to hospitals for injuries.  It is possible the 13 year old parents insurance will not provide coverage for this crash. The pedestrians do have a right to make a possible un-insured motorist claim with their own auto insurance even though their vehicle was not involved. They could also make a personal injury protection claim with their own auto coverage. Our office is available for a free consultation.
