ATV Driver Flees From Police, Dies in Crash By Rocky Walton on July 20, 2020

On the evening of July 17, 2020, a 37-year-old man was illegally operating an ATV vehicle on a roadway and fleeing from police in Fort Worth. A short while into the chase, he collided with a vehicle.  The man was taken to a hospital but died there. Another person sustained critical injuries and was taken to a hospital. We are unsure if alcohol or drugs are a factor. The family involved with the vehicle driver as well as the possible passenger on the ATV might be eligible for uninsured motor events as most liability policies exclude intentional acts, or police chases. Our prayers are with those involved.
