Merging Driver Killed in Collision with 18-Wheeler By Rocky Walton on September 25, 2020

On the very early morning of September 25, 2020, an SUV collided with an 18-wheeler as the driver of the SUV merged onto I-30 in Dallas near Cockrell Hill Road. The 18-wheeler overturned after losing control from the collision. The driver of the 18-wheeler, a 64-year-old man was trapped inside and taken to a hospital for serious injuries after being extricated. He, unfortunately, died at the hospital. The driver of the SUV, a 21-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital for injuries. It is not apparent what caused the crash or if speed is a factor. We are very sorry for the injuries and the death involved in this crash. Our office is availble for a free consultation regarding the potential liability and UIM claims.
