Mother and Children Killed in Highway Crash - Parker County, TX
On the afternoon of December 27, 2020, a 25-year-old mother and her two children aged 7 and 4 lost their lives in an accident on Highway 199 at Park View Court, west of Springtown in Parker County. According to reports, their SUV struck a pickup truck that slowed to make a turn onto Park View Court. The SUV failed to slow and attempted to avoid hitting the truck by veering to the left but still struck the back of the pickup and came to a stop in oncoming traffic. An oncoming vehicle struck the SUV. The SUV driver, the mother, and her two children were killed at the scene. Another driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
