Head-On Crash Kills 1, Injures 2 - Johnson County, TX
On the afternoon of December 31, 2020, a head-on crash took the life of one and injured 2 others in Johnson County on Farm to Market Road 2280 north of Keene. According to reports, an SUV traveling south on FM 2280 struck a pickup truck traveling north after crossing over into oncoming lanes. The pickup truck driver, a 70-year-old man, was taken to a hospital where he died. A 67-year-old female passenger in the truck sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. The 40-year-old female driver of the SUV sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. Investigations continue.
