Hit and Run Pickup Runs Red Light, Kills 2 - Dallas, TX
On the early morning of January 17, 2021, a man driving a pickup truck traveling east ran through a red light at the intersection of Webb Chapel Road and LBJ Freeway in Dallas. The pickup struck another vehicle that had a green light as they were traveling north at the intersection. A 49-year-old man and 77-year-old woman in that northbound vehicle died at the scene. The male pickup truck driver fled the scene but a passenger was taken to a hospital for injuries and detained by police.
