Senior Woman Killed in Head-On Collision - Cleburne, TX
On the morning of January 20, 2021, a 75-year-old woman driving a Kia SUV was struck head-on while traveling north on Weatherford Highway (SH 171 N) in Cleburne. A Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 53-year-old man traveling south on the highway crossed over into northbound lanes and struck the KIa. The senior woman lost her life in the flight to the hospital for her severe injuries It is unknown if the pickup truck driver sustained any injuries. Investigations continue as to the reason why the pickup veered into opposite traffic.
