18-Vehicle Crash on Icy Road Kills 1 - Dallas, TX By Rocky Walton on February 12, 2021

On the night of February 10, 2021, icy roads caused an 18-vehicle crash on an elevated service road of Interstate 45 near MLK Blvd in Dallas. The first vehicle struck a wall after driving over a patch of ice on the bridge. That impact caused a chain reaction of several vehicles colliding that continued for several minutes. While the crashes were ongoing, a man died at the scene after he got out of his vehicle and was struck by another vehicle. Injuries were reported, but unclear as to who was injured.
