Chain-reaction crash kills 1 on I-35 - Fort Worth, TX By Rocky Walton on June 10, 2021

On the late night of June 9, 2021, an 18-wheeler slowed to a stop for a construction area along southbound I-35 near N. Tarrant Parkway in Fort Worth. A vehicle approaching behind the semi failed to stop or avoid the semi and collided into the back of the truck. Two other vehicles could not stop in time and collided with the vehicle that struck the semi. The driver that struck the 18-wheeler died at the scene after sustaining life-threatening injuries. Two occupants in the second vehicle sustained non-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital. One person in the third vehicle sustained minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
