On the night of June 27, 2021, a 54-year-old man lost his life while operating his motorcycle along Lake Ridge Parkway in Grand Prairie. The motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle who failed to yield to his right of way while turning onto England Parkway. The rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital where he died.
