Fleeing Driver Kills 1 in Crash After Running Red Light - Arlington TX By Rocky Walton on July 05, 2021

On the evening of July 2, 2021, Pantego Police were attempting to pull over a vehicle near Arkansas and Bowen in Arlington before it caused a deadly crash in Arlington. Police discontinued the pursuit after steadily traveling about 100 mph and running several red lights. Shortly after, the fleeing driver ran another red light at South Cooper and Arkansas and crashed into another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle, a 3-year-old man, died at the scene while the driver an occupant of the fleeing vehicle ran away after the crash.
