On the very early morning of July 10th, 2021, an ATV driven by a 21-year-old man crashed into a fence near FM 51 along Bolton Road north of Granbury. Two sibling passengers, a 21-year-old woman and 18 year-old man, sustained serious injuries after being ejected in the crash. The 18-year-old recent high school graduate was airlifted to a hospital where he died. The driver sustained unknown injuries.
