On the late night of August 22, 2021, a 29-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after laying his bike down to avoid crashing into a vehicle while traveling the wrong direction on Loop 820 and Highway 199. A vehicle struck the motorcyclist on the ground and he died at the scene.
