On the morning of October 2, 2021, a young woman lost her life after her vehicle rear-ended an 18-wheeler along Interstate 20 in Parker County. The woman's car struck the semi that was parked on the shoulder of the highway. Reports revealed that the accident occured on the woman's 20th birthday.
