Justice Achieved for the Family of 74-year-old Crash Victim By Rocky Walton on March 11, 2022

Justice was achieved for the family of 74-year-old Fort Worth resident, Carolyn Necessary, who tragically lost her life in a motor vehicle crash on January 18, 2022, as reported by Star-Telegram. According to the Keller police department, they have arrested a man by the name of Anthony Anile. Anile currently faces the charge of manslaughter, which is a 2nd-degree felony and carries a maximum sentence of twenty years and a ten thousand dollar fine. According to the Keller police department, Anile had been driving recklessly going 70mph in a posted 45mph zone. Due to his increased speed and dangerous weaving in and out of traffic, Anile struck Mrs. Necessary in the 2000 block of South Main Street killing her. Police found Anile due to a combination of digital mapping around the crash scene, and Anile’s medical records along with his vehicle's event data recorder obtained via warrant. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family of Mrs. Necessary. A link to Mrs. Necessary’s obituary can be found here.

Our Prayer

Lord, please place your healing hands upon the grieving hearts of those who have lost someone most dear. Please give them the strength to endure their pain, and the peace in their hearts to know she is with you in paradise Lord. We ask this in your name with glory and honor given to you. Amen.

However, it may be cathartic to have Anile in custody and off the streets; it does little to salve the spiritual, emotional, and financial pain that will be felt by Mrs. Necessary’s family due to her premature death. Thankfully, the law is multifaceted and allows families to seek recompense for their loved ones in civil court. Through this process, the family can be awarded civil damages, which are monetary awards given to the winning side due to the negligent actions of others. While the complete amount is dependent on the judge’s ruling, civil damages are a legal way to help the family move forward in the grieving process without worrying over financial matters.

To help navigate this difficult process, car accident attorney Roger “Rocky” Walton is a board-certified attorney with decades of experience and a staff dedicated to helping families get the damages they deserve from all guilty parties.
