At this time not much is known as to what caused the accident though there are normally a set of events that take place which causes accidents. One of the main causes of auto accidents especially in the current era is distracted driving. Distracted driving is normally seen as either eating in the car without paying attention to the road, more commonly looking down at their phones to text somebody when they should be watching where they are going. The other kind is when the driver is impaired in some way that stops them from reacting on time. The most common ways that drivers are impaired tend to be drunk driving, driving while exhausted, and driving at night. Seeing as how the accident took place after midnight driving at night could have been one of the main factors in this crash. Until Dallas PD releases more on the accident it is impossible to tell if any other normal factors were present during the time of the crash.
