Ford Strikes Stopped 18-Wheeler Leading to one Fatality in Denton
On March 31, 2022, a Ford truck struck the back of an 18-wheeler in Denton reported DFWCBS. Denton Police were dispatched to the scene of an accident at mile marker 467 of I-35E near North Texas Blvd shortly after 1:45 AM. Denton PD and emergency services rushed to the scene of the reported accident and found the smashed-up wreck of a Ford F-150 that had struck the back of an 18-wheeler that had stopped for traffic. Upon checking the wrecked ford paramedics found the as of yet unnamed 42-year-old driver had died at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was unharmed by the accident. Denton traffic investigators arrived at the scene and began to search for what might have caused the crash in the first place. At this time, the investigation is still ongoing. The firm would like to extend its condolences to the family of the victim at this time.
Dear Lord, please guide the souls of the fallen to their eternal rest. Lord, please give peace to the hearts of the families of those who suffer in grief, and lead them out of their darkness back into the light that is you, Lord. We ask this in your name with all the glory and honor to you Lord. Amen.
Often in situations that see driver fatalities in connection to 18-wheelers and commercial vehicles, it is normally the fault of these bigger vehicles that have trouble stopping in time to avoid accidents. Other times such as this though it is the fault of other drivers who fail to see that the bigger vehicles are stopped, and due to their great size and mass makes hitting one of these vehicles is a near-death sentence. However, until more information comes to light it is hard to tell what stopped the Ford driver from seeing that the 18-wheeler had stopped. Whatever the reason may be that caused the accident, the family of the Ford driver should look into retaining the services of an attorney. Doing so will help the family navigate the legal sea that would seek to hamper efforts, and give them less than they deserve in damages from the loss of their loved one.
