Joe Mokodean

Joe Mokodean is "of counsel" for a few of our litigation cases. Joe graduated magna cum laude from Ohio University in 2009. Joe received a Bachelor of Specialized Studies degree in history and political science with a minor in economics. He then attended law school at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. After graduating from law school in 2012, Joe moved to Washington D.C. and became licensed to practice law in Virginia and Washington D.C.

In D.C., Joe primarily represented indigent criminal defendants and tenants and he was also an Assistant Attorney General. In 2019, Joe moved back to Texas, this time settling in Fort Worth. He quickly became licensed in Texas and he continued to work with clients in low-income communities as a Staff Attorney with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas’s Community Revitalization Project.

Within just a few months, Joe has quickly gained extensive knowledge of Texas personal injury law. Joe is currently a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association.

Joe is married to Loui Itoh Mokodean, who is an Assistant Federal Public Defender. Joe and his wife welcomed their first baby in late 2021 and second baby in April 2024. In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, friends and labradoodle. Joe also enjoys playing volleyball.
